jesse larson | president

After studying Digital Video Production at Valencia College and then receiving a degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Florida Southern College, Larson worked for NFocus from 2007 to 2013 as a producer. Among his many productions was the award-winning documentary Voices From Mariel. From 2013 to 2017, Larson worked at Publix Super Markets as an Art Producer where his responsibilities included procuring crew, collaborating with creatives, managing budgets, and producing hundreds of video, photography, and illustration projects each year. As President of NFocus, Larson directs all facets of the production company and studios – including daily operations, vision forecasting, and client relations.

jim carleton | creative director & post production supervisor

Over the past twenty-five years as a managing partner of NFocus Visual Communications, Jim has directed, produced, and edited a number of national and international media projects. These include feature-length and short narratives, documentaries, broadcast, commercial work, stories of humanitarian efforts, and live-event production.  Jim served as Executive Producer and Editor on NFocus Pictures award-winning feature-length thriller entitled Endure, which garnered world-wide distribution deals.  He also directed NFocus Pictures award-winning documentary Voices From Mariel.  Most recently, Jim directed NFocus Pictures faith-based short narrative entitled Cross Point and co-directed the feature-length documentary Mr. George.

 

rob tritton | coo & senior producer

Rob has been a producer at NFocus for twenty-five years, also serving as its chief operating officer. In this capacity, he gives oversight to projecting, scheduling, and managing all aspects of production. 
As Producer of the recent feature film, Endure (2010), he was responsible for securing the $1.4 million budget through equity investments, financing, and state incentives. He has produced an award-winning documentary, Voices from Mariel (2011), and is currently producing and co-directing Mr. George (2014), a feature documentary on the life and legacy of George W. Jenkins, founder of Publix Supermarkets.

JASON HARPER | senior producer & Vp of BROADCAST DEVELOPMENT

Jason is an Emmy award-winning television Producer, Director and Writer with more than 25 years experience creating a variety of successful television shows, such as: “60 Days In” (A&E), "The Biggest Loser" (NBC), "Slimetime Live" (Nickelodeon), “My Yard Goes Disney” (HGTV), “Freak Out” (abc family), “Altered Course” (NBC Sports), “Big Break NFL” (Golf Channel), "The Kids are In Charge" (Travel Channel), "Be Discovered" (Disney), “Feherty” (NBC Sports), “Tailgate Warriors with Guy Fieri” (Food Network) and, "Food Tech" (History Channel). Jason specializes in directing celebrities and developing new talent, while creating storytelling elements which capture and keep audiences.

Jason is an avid photographer and adventurer.  He also founded and helps to run a non-profit organization in Ukraine which operates three orphanage facilities.

 

Tim register | producer & director

Tim earned his MFA in photography from SCAD in 2017. He is an expert camera operator, DP, lighting director, director and writer/producer with two optioned feature screenplays. His skills and experience have taken him around the world gathering footage and producing for a wide variety of clients including FEMA, DHS, the National Terrorism Preparedness Institute and outdoor productions for ESPN and The Travel Channel. With more than 30 years in the industry, his production experience includes work for Disney/MGM, Disney Institute, Nickelodeon, DIY Network and others.

mary leslie

Mary has won a number of awards for her production work, including Revolution Film Festival’s Best Documentary for her short documentary, LAKELAND DERBY DAMES, which was also Runner-Up in the College Division of the 2014 YLakeland Video Contest, as well as 2nd Place for People’s Choice. Some of her early work can be found playing on Collier County’s Educational Channel, including a documentary she did on Holocaust survivors in 2012 titled LIBERATION.

dustin blanton

Dustin first realized his love for film and video at the age of eight thanks to a video production class. An avid skateboarder, Dustin incorporates his daring physicality into his filmmaking to capture exciting Ronin and drone shots. At NFocus, first as an intern and now as a cameraman and editor, Dustin has expanded his filmmaking skills and has quickly becoming an invaluable member of the team.
