Jim’s interest in the creative arts began at the age of 14, when he landed his first lead role in a musical. He furthered his love for the entertainment industry during his college years as an on-air radio personality. Jim went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a minor in Communications. He then brought his comprehensive management knowledge and creativity into the film and television production arena.
Over the past thirteen years as a managing partner of NFocus Visual Communications, he has directed, produced, and edited a number of national and international media projects. These include feature-length and short narratives, documentaries, broadcast, commercial work, stories of humanitarian efforts, and live-event production. Jim served as Executive Producer and Editor on NFocus Pictures award-winning feature-length thriller entitled Endure, which garnered world-wide distribution deals. He also directed NFocus Pictures award-winning documentary Voices From Mariel. Most recently, Jim directed NFocus Pictures faith-based short narrative entitled Cross Point and co-directed the feature-length documentary Mr. George.
When not sneaking table food to his dog Frank, Jim enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and outdoor adventures such as fishing, hiking, and white water rafting. Jim is a member of the Florida Film Network, serves on the board of the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation, and is currently serving as the Program Director for the Ritz Film Festival.
