These are a few images acquired during a technical run through for a fishing show currently in development by NFocus.  Should be shooting the pilot episode in the next few weeks.

NFocus was recently recognized by The Polk Arts Alliance for its contributions to the local arts community. Platform Art nominated NFocus and Producer Rob Tritton for the 5th annual Cultural Arts Recognition Program Awards which were held at the Lakeland Center on December 15. The Polk Arts Alliance Vice President Cindy Rodriguez presented the award, a ceramic teapot created by Lakeland artist Randy Glotfelty. The PAA had this to say about NFocus:

This thirty-second spot, as well as a sixty second spot, was produced by NFocus for Visit Central Florida.  NFocus acted as a full-service agency by providing all elements of creative and production, including concept, story board, script development, production and post-production.

Voices From Mariel is headed south of the border, once again. It is now an official selection of the Oaxaca International Independent Film and Video Festival being held in Oaxaca de Juárez, Mexico. This is the second time Voices From Mariel will be screened outside of U.S. borders.

NFocus spent the morning shooting beauty shots of the Florida Southern College campus.  The images will be used by the Princeton Review which has ranked Florida Southern College among the top colleges in the country for its beautiful campus setting.

Voices From Mariel is heading to the Northeast, having been named as
an official selection for both the Jersey Shore Film Festival and the
New Jersey International Film Festival.

A crew from NFocus spent four days in Big Sky, Montana taping sessions for the American Gear Manufacturers Association.  The sessions were produced as live-to-tape for delivery via DVD and streaming from AGMA’s website.  NFocus provided full service on this project, including producing, directing and editorial.

The new Tampa office will be headed up by Tim Register.  Bringing over 30 years of production experience, Tim’s industry experience includes work for Disney/MGM, Disney Institute, Nickelodeon, ESPN and others. Tim is a master camera operator, lighting director, director and writer/producer. His skills and experience have taken him around the world gathering footage and producing for a wide variety of clients including FEMA, DHS, the National Terrorism Preparedness Institute and outdoor productions for ESPN and The Travel Channel. Most recently, Tim worked as the Director of the Multimedia Unit at the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, America’s largest education association located in Alexandria, Virginia, where he built a team, a state of the art studio and edit suites, and helped to produce award winning professional development videos for teachers and principals worldwide.
