Since childhood, Norberto felt something special every time he held a camera; he was fascinated with capturing special moments through the lens. During his last year of high school in Puerto Rico, Norberto was tasked with directing a commercial for a marketing class and it was the decisive moment that convinced him to pursue a career in the Communications field.

After a few photography classes at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Norberto decided he would like to expand his knowledge and look for better opportunities. This is when he transferred to Full Sail University in Orlando, FL to join the Film program.

During his time at Full Sail University, he was able to work as the Director of Photography in several projects, using both film and digital cameras as well as a gamut of lighting and special effects gear, and went on to graduate as the Valedictorian of his class. He recently won 2nd Place in the Amateur Division at the first YLakeland Video Contest, as well as the People’s Choice Award with his short-form documentary of the Imperial Symphony Orchestra.

In his spare time, Norberto enjoys visiting various Florida theme parks, going on photo walks, developing film photos at home, and practicing his self-proclaimed barista skills.
