Platform Art nominated NFocus and Producer Rob Tritton for the 5th annual Cultural Arts Recognition Program Awards which were held at the Lakeland Center on December 15. The Polk Arts Alliance Vice President Cindy Rodriguez presented the award, a ceramic teapot created by Lakeland artist Randy Glotfelty. The PAA had this to say about NFocus:

The film industry is a growing creative industries sector of the economy in the State of Florida bringing the economic engine of the film industry to our region. Film production is an expensive endeavor that requires a great deal of technical and creative companies working together as teams. This thirty-second spot, as well as a sixty second spot, was produced by NFocus for Visit Central Florida.  NFocus acted as a full-service agency by providing all elements of creative and production, including concept, story board, script development, production and post-production.

Voices From Mariel is headed south of the border, once again. It is now an official selection of the Oaxaca International Independent Film and Video Festival being held in Oaxaca de Juárez, Mexico. This is the second time Voices From Mariel will be screened outside of U.S. borders.

an official selection for both the Jersey Shore Film Festival and the
New Jersey International Film Festival.

The Jersey Shore Film Festival runs July 28 through August 7.  Founded
in 2006, the mission of the Jersey Shore Film Festival is to serve
film enthusiasts of all ages throughout the Jersey Shore community by
presenting entertaining and thought-provoking films created by
talented independent filmmakers from around the world.  For more

The New Jersey International Film Festival is in its 30th year and
