We approach all our projects with this central question: How do we best communicate your message to your audience?
In essence, we work backwards. We become intimately familiar with your communication goals and then design the most effectual means of transmitting that message to your audience, within your budget. Our mission is to be a communications resource committed to the successful exchange of ideas between our clients and their audiences.

Jim Carleton – Producer/Director
Jim’s interest in the creative arts began at the age of 14, when he landed his first lead role in a musical. He furthered his love for the entertainment industry during his college years as an on-air radio personality. Jim went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a minor in Communications. He then brought his comprehensive management knowledge and creativity into the film and television production arena. Over the past twelve years as a managing partner of NFocus Visual Communications, he has directed, produced, and edited a number of national and international media projects. These include feature-length and short narratives, documentaries, broadcast, commercial work, stories of humanitarian efforts, and live-event production. Jim served as Executive Producer and Editor on NFocus Pictures feature-length film entitled Endure. Most recently, Jim was Director of NFocus Pictures award-winning documentary Voices From Mariel. Jim enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and outdoor adventures such as hiking, fishing, and white water rafting. Jim is a member of the Florida Film Network and the American Advertising Federation.

Rob Tritton – C.O.O.
Rob’s responsibilities with NFocus center around the daily operations. The 4 C’s (Clients, Contracts, Controls, and Cash) wake him up in the morning and bring him to the office each day. His co-workers accuse him of being grumpy when paying bills and elated when emailing invoices. The truth is his greatest satisfaction comes when NFocus’ clients are happy and the Dallas Cowboys are winning. With a background in business and a B.B.A. from the University of Central Oklahoma, Rob has been with NFocus from its inception. He has lived all over the southeast, but has been a Lakelander since 1987. With five children, his favorite pastime is being a soccer, football, and basketball dad (mainly because his playing days are over and he lives vicariously through his kids). Rob also enjoys boating, fishing, running, football, and movies.

Tim Register – Producer/Director
Tim began working in television production as a teen for STAR Ministries, first as a camera operator and then a director, creating children’s programing. He double-majored at Evangel University in Television Production and Theater Production. With more than 30 years in the industry, his production experience include work for Disney/MGM, Disney Institute, Nickelodeon, ESPN and others. Tim is a master camera operator, lighting director, director and writer/producer. His skills and experience have taken him around the world gathering footage and producing for a wide variety of clients including FEMA, DHS, the National Terrorism Preparedness Institute and outdoor productions for ESPN and The Travel Channel. Most recently, Tim worked as the Director of the Multimedia Unit at ASCD, America’s largest education association located in Alexandria, Virginia, where he built a team, a state of the art studio and edit suites, and helped to produce award winning professional development videos for teachers and principals worldwide. Tim has now partnered with NFocus to build a Tampa location with an office located in Ybor City. He lives on the Gulf of Mexico with his wife Ashley. When he’s not working, you’ll find Tim and Ashley at the beach, or in their tandem kayak.

Laura Ward – Associate Producer

Jesse Larson – Producer
Straight out of high school, Jesse headed off to Valencia Community College where he studied film and digital video production. After two years at Valencia and Jesse’s discovery that he preferred the role of producer, he decided to work more on the business and public relations side of the industry. He transferred to Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida where he completed a B.A. in Public Relations. Jesse has continued to work in the entertainment industry as a Camera Operator and Production Assistant for many live events and other film and video productions. Recently, Jesse was an Associate Producer on the feature film Endure and a Producer of the award winning documentary Voices From Mariel. When he is not hanging out at the office, Jesse is usually traveling the globe surfing, hunting, and fishing.

Virginia Celoria – Associate Producer/Editor/Graphic Artist
Virginia fell in love with the entertainment industry at the age of 13, when she appeared as an extra in the film Problem Child 2. However, she was more interested in all the activity happening behind the camera than having her face appear on screen. Since then, Virginia has worked in live theater production, magazine production, and graphic arts. She received a Bachelors of Arts in English from the University of Florida and an Entertainment Business Masters of Science from Full Sail University. A member of the NFocus team since February of 2010, Virginia leverages her live event, writing, and graphic arts skills to best fulfill the clients’ needs. When she has free time, she fills it with reading, writing, mountain biking, and sewing.
