Bryan and Greg Watts

Twin brothers Bryan and Greg Watts are two individuals with two different sets of character traits, but when it comes to fishing, they read from the same page. Growing up in Central Florida, the brothers began their angling careers by fishing for large-mouth bass. They soon migrated to saltwater and have proclaimed inshore fishing their passion.

From a very young age, Bryan and Greg developed a passion for fishing. In fact, they were so young when they went on their first fishing trip, that they can’t even remember it. At age 6, they could be found fishing in the puddles left behind in their driveway by afternoon rain showers or unpacking and repacking their dad’s tackle box. As 12-year-olds, they made spending money by catching fish in Auburndale’s Lake Juliana for their neighbors’ dinner tables.

In 1980, the brothers began competing in local bass fishing tournaments around Florida while running a successful fiberglass installation and repair business. Everything changed in 1996 when they entered a Saltwater Flats Fishing Association photo tournament and by 1997, Bryan and Greg were entirely devoted to inshore fishing. Once they made the change from freshwater to saltwater, tournament win after tournament win began to pile up and sponsors came calling. In 2001, the brothers closed their fiberglass business and began a full-time career in competitive fishing and industry promotions.

Admired by novice anglers, respected by their fellow tournament fishermen, these kind, congenial competitors have become the ideal ambassadors for the sport fishing industry. Always willing to share their vast knowledge and offer advice and encouragement to those seeking to emulate their success, the Watts brothers have all the tools for effective educational television and already have appeared on Addictive Fishing, Cabelas Outdoors, Americana Outdoors, and ESPN.

These days, if Bryan and Greg aren’t fishing, it’s because they are busy with speaking engagements. For many years now, the twins have been guest speakers on radio shows and at seminars, conventions, expos, pro shops and fishing universities. Their knowledge is in demand and novices and experts alike look to the twins for advice.

With a tournament career spanning over two decades, the Watts brothers have established themselves as the most successful dynamic duo in the Southeast when it comes to inshore tournament fishing. The brothers have the expertise and experience that inshore fishermen at all levels are looking for. When the Watts brothers speak, people listen. When the Watts brothers fish, people watch.
